Vision for Syria
Syria needs the solidarity of everyone — local communities and government alike — to work on building it, and this will not happen unless we create strong communities and a government of high competence that enjoys trust and internal legitimacy; and that will not happen except through legislation that gives communities their standing and frames the government's work transparently and professionally.
Experience
Neurosurgeon; leader of civil, community and educational work during the period of refuge; and founder of the Syrian Hope robotics team, which has won more than 50 prizes locally and internationally, the latest of them in Singapore and Dubai.
Priority issues
The rights of the vulnerable and the harmed, so that the justice due to them may be delivered. - The reaching of quality education to all the children and young people of Syria. - Building a strong, principled and independent civil society.
