The fall of injustice is not a political event, but the birth of a new age
"Not all occurrences are events; some events make eras, and when the balance of fear changes in a nation, its entire history changes. The liberation of Syria is the greatest fracture in the structure of tyranny in the modern Levant, and it is the event that redefined the possible after decades of the impossible. Let us be a faithful brick in building a state worthy of these sacrifices and of this historic event." "The coming People's Assembly stands before an exceptional legislative moment in Syria's history, a moment in which the features of the modern state will be drawn through the debate and drafting of hundreds of decisive laws. My mission is to be an active part of this undertaking, by working towards just legislation that enshrines the rule of law, rebuilds trust between citizen and state, and makes justice the foundation of stability and development."
Vision for Syria
A state of right and justice; a state that respects human dignity, safeguards rights and freedoms, affords equal opportunities to all its people, invests the energies of its youth and of its talent at home and abroad, and restores to Syria its civilisational and humanitarian role in its Arab and regional surroundings. The transition from the logic of power to the logic of the state, from individual rule to national partnership, and from exclusion to reconciliation founded on truth and justice
Experience

Member of a number of international legal bodies.
Priority issues
Transitional justice and the accountability of those responsible for crimes and violations: as the essential gateway to restoring trust between the state and society, ensuring that tyranny is not repeated, and delivering redress to victims. - Just reconstruction and the protection of property rights: in a manner that guarantees the return of the displaced, protects the rights of original owners, prevents exclusion or unlawful appropriation, and ties reconstruction to sustainable development rather than to speculation. - Building the state of law and institutions: through the independence of the judiciary, reform of public administration, combating corruption, and entrenching the principle of equal citizenship without discrimination.
