Today we stand before a pivotal legislative responsibility: to lay the foundations of a new political stage in Syria's history, resting on entrenching the sovereignty of the state, safeguarding the dignity of the citizen, ending the residue of the past decades of suffering, and uprooting corruption.

1- Communication with official and diplomatic bodies, and the drafting of memoranda of a diplomatic character. 2- Following up investment files and preparing proposals. 3- Command of the rules of international law and of international relations, and the analysis of political and regional issues and the preparation of assessments and recommendations concerning them.

Strengthening Arab and regional relations in a manner consonant with the national interest. Supporting the national economy and creating job opportunities for young people. Entrenching national reconciliation.
